The VAUGHN VISION

  “Putting People & Principles over Parties & Politics”

My vision for Maryland and America – and the reason I’m running for US Senate for Maryland – is to Restore, Preserve, and Protect the “Heart & Soul” of the American Dream.

I believe the “Heart” of America is American Ingenuity and Productivity.

I believe the “Soul” of America is the Rule of Law as derived from Biblical principles.

All of our national issues are a factor of one of these two.

Our Founders gave this country our “National Character” with its Heart & Soul, expressed through freedoms and responsibilities which allowed for the individual’s productivity and moral boundaries that together made the United States the greatest country the world has ever seen.

Now our American character and greatness are in big trouble.
We have elected politicians who have demonstrated they care more for their continued re-election than the long term good of the United States.
Politics and party pandering have tanked our economy, lost us jobs (and even whole industries) to foreign countries, and made us a debtor nation.

We are over-taxed and over-regulated by BIG Government for its own sake.
Our representative Republic is slipping more towards Eastern European style Socialism and oppressive government.

Our growth has always been our strength.
Irresponsible government has stopped our growth.

The real change we need is to eliminate our overburdened, unfair taxes, unfair trade, and unfair regulations and watch our economy and jobs GROW!

When I take the oath as a US Senator, I pledge to faithfully and fearlessly fight to restore, preserve, and protect the “Heart & Soul” of the American Dream so those who come behind us will know we were faithful and left our America to them better than we found it.
