Why I'm Running

The most important question I can answer for you is why I am a candidate for Governor of Maryland in 2010.

Our present leadership has forgotten what true service (to our fellow citizens) is. Moreover, it is time to move forward and restore the princples our country was founded upon.

In 2008 the United States of America indicated we wanted a course of “Change.”

Since the later part of the 20th century, we as a country have been going through a severe identity crisis. In the midst of political back and forths, we have lost our focus on being true Americans first.

If we understand our Declaration of Independence in that, “We hold these truths to be self evident; that all men are created equal…” then, and only then, will our definition of ”Change” move from “party and politics” to “People and Principles!”

As we seek to perfect the American Dream, the charge of a good leader must be about service, and not being about self-serving!

The 2010 Election is a defining moment of truth for America, for the future we will have, and the legacy we will leave:

— As President Reagan put it, “Government is not the solution, it’s the problem.”

Unfortunately, the 2008 election is proving to be a big disappointment and has only given us more of the same old politics as usual.

True patriots and statesmen care about “People and Principles,” and understand that for freedom to continue, politics and our big government methods must change. We must once again rely on individual responsibility, free markets, and fair trade.

We start this true change by replacing career politicians with citizen/servant leaders and statesmen, as our Founding Fathers intended and demonstrated.

As your next Governor of Maryland, I pledge to uphold the mandates of my fellow citizens, our State charter, Oath of office, and the Constitution of the United States.
