The Proven Deal
Change today is not taking away liberties, sadly that's been happening for the last century. True change today is a bold commitment to restore the freedom, integrity, and prosperity that made us great; it's what makes us Americans. That is change! That is what I hope to bring to Washington, a simple understanding, I work for you. Today we must stand together for real change, a restoration of American values:
1. Fiscal Responsibility
2. Rebuilding a solid, Family-friendly, AMERICAN Economy
3. Defend freedom through a strong national defense
4. Preserve Traditional American and Family Values, and uphold
their constitutionality
5. New Businesses and JOB Opportunities
6. Energy Independence
7. Developing our children as the best and brightest.
By simply joining with me today, you send a bold message, a truly American message, to our government.

1. Fiscal Responsibility
Like any family, our Government (federal, state, local) needs to spend within its means. Anything less is irresponsible. Rather than making budget allocations simply based on last year’s numbers, we need to require ALL factors to fully justify their existence and budget each-and-every year (just like a household does).
Only then will we begin to correct the out-of-control government expenses along with waste, fraud, and abuse.
Statesmen must stand up and resist the temptation to overspend.
2. Rebuilding a solid, Family-friendly, AMERICAN Economy
Using the concept of “Free Trade” we have allowed other countries to restrict our exports while enjoying unlimited access to our US market. This works to their advantage and encourages US companies to outsource or move jobs overseas to save labor costs (often in oppressive sweat shops).
We need to adopt a “Fair Trade” policy by which we keep a level playing field using tariffs to equalize and offset cheap foreign labor, inferior quality materials and designs from undermining our economy.
Fair trade, along with moderation of over-regulation and government micro-mismanagement, would start a natural process to inspire a rebuilding of a family-friendly American economy led by small business innovation and creativity.
3. Defend freedom through a strong national Defense
Since our founding, Americans have rallied to protect our freedom via a strong national defense policy. Current administration practices make us look weak in the eyes of the world. Let’s get back to doing what worked for us for 200 years:
No bowing to foreign leaders; no appeasement; no talking or negotiating from a position of weakness; no citizenship treatment for our declared enemies; no succumbing to threats by rouge, third-world dictators; no indecision in supporting our troops, and no playing politics with lives and safety of our troops.
“Walk softly, but carry a big stick.” – Teddy Roosevelt
4. Preserve traditional American Family Values, and uphold their constitutionality
American and family values are under a constant barrage of attacks from the legislative, executive and judicial branches of government. Who would have ever thought we would need to protect parents’ rights to educate and discipline their own children, or defend an individual’s Second Amendment rights, or fight to preserve the definition of marriage?
We need to fight back. Start with statesmen who get it.
5. New Businesses and JOB Opportunities
The lifeblood of a strong economy is the ability of businesses to start or expand and hire (legal) workers. Government interference via over-regulation and over-taxation are roadblocks to the economic highway of growth and success. Government’s failure to protect the legal workforce from illegal aliens stealing our jobs right in front of our face is an irresponsible disgrace and unacceptable. Change should start here.
6. Energy Independence
We have the resources.
We have the technology.
We have the need.
We have the government in the way!
Instead of protecting us citizens, Government has taken on the role of over-enforcer in supposedly protecting the environment, including dubious “endangered” species, wetlands, dry lands, farmland, oceans, lakes, rivers, the atmosphere, the climate, etc. No fish, bird, rodent, or insect should be overly protected over the rights and needs of humans. This is a no-brainer. Drill here – drill now.
7. Developing our children as the best and brightest.
Parents, not the government are responsible for the education of their children. For those parents who choose to delegate that responsibility to the government schools, such schools are obligated to provide a quality product. Are we getting our money’s worth? Or have education and discipline standards been so lowered that too many fail to get a quality education, much less graduate from high school.
Since the advent of the US Dept. of Education, quality standards have actually been lowered to the point where we should admit that the states and localities do a better, less expensive job WITHOUT the federal government interferences.
Costs go up and results go down. If this were any business not run by the government, it would be declared a failure and allowed to go under. It’s time we took a more pro-active, local approach. Eliminate the US Dept. of Education and put the money back into local systems or refund it to the taxpayers to make their own local decisions.
