The Proven Deal

Over the life of this country we have seen many political promise packages.

Some have clever, easy-to-remember names such as FDR’s “New Deal,” LBJ’s “Great Society,” the Republican ’94 Congress’ “Contract with America.”

Whether we call it a “contract,” “pact,” “promise,” “platform,” or “deal,” it consists of a set of promises founded upon principles which represent the core values of the one offering and his/her implementation approach depending upon the circumstances of the times.

The packages of the past all contained a mixed degree of success, and obviously failure. Since those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it, we believe we have created a promise package derived from historically successful goals, strategy, tactics, and proper governing.

This will put us back on the solid Economic and Social foundation of our Founding Fathers.

Today, the average person, the "forgotten citizen," is longing for candidates who have a passion for Jeffersonian principles in order to truly turn this country around.

They’re starving for the TRUTH and trying to figure out what works.

It’s the change we’re really hoping for.

We know we’re overtaxed, over-regulated, and overly in debt.

We’re strapping the next generations with unconscionable debt.

Too many are unemployed.

We rely too much on foreign sources for our products and energy.

Career politicians rule over the people instead of governing for the people.

Of course it’s complicated, but the proven, time-tested principles are simple.

We created one version of The Proven Deal for the national level as well, but this is the place MARYLAND needs to start – and show leadership to the nation the way we led at the country’s founding!

  25 Points of Freedom and the American Way for today:

 Maryland should lead the way in all state’s requiring the Federal Government to

 Nationally:  Stop growing government and START growing jobs.

1. Stop destroying our country. Begin with balancing the budget & sealing the borders!

  Make English our "official" lnaguage.

2. Stop sending our jobs to Mexico, India, and China.

3. Stop taking so much of our family funds in every way imaginable.

4. Stop trying to change marriage and destroying the family.

5. Stop trying to be the world’s policeman, but faithfully honor commitments to our allies.

 

6. Stop government take-over of companies, businesses, and Wall Street.

7. Stop subordinating our Constitution to international treaties.

8. START to embrace “fair trade,” lower taxes, and less regulation of manufacturers.

Enforce the Buy-American Act.

9. START to withdraw from NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO, etc. to free our economy from international restraints.

10. START to apply tariffs against goods from protected, low-wage countries, or commodity dumpers, such as China.

11. START to restore Kennedy era government which maintained federal government expenditures between 17 and 18% of GDP

12. START to restore the original US patent system with first-to-invent, not first-to-file system,

so foreigners can’t steal what we create.

13. START to save Social Security by making all contributions Trust Fund specific (only used to pay Soc. Sec.) and taking all illegal aliens off all benefit rolls, federal and State.

MARYLAND needs to:

14. START using our natural resources; responsibly drilling our own oil & gas, on and off-shore, for energy independence -- and jobs.

15. START building and adding on to safe nuclear energy plants.

16. START making our own, quality steel and commodities again.

17.  START cracking down on waste, fraud, & abuse of govt. money, programs, and politicians – at ALL levels.

18. START enforcing illegal immigration laws, using the Arizona model, to reduce unemployment for Americans.

19. START zero-based budgeting to balance the budget.

20. START requiring justification of spending every dollar, every day.

21. START regaining jobs lost to nearby states through business-friendly, responsible, sensible taxes and regulations.

22. START restoring the Chesapeake Bay by a synergistic effort to balance farming needs with converting waste products to bio-fuels, etc., and monitoring inter-state pollution practices.

23. START rejecting federal programs that place budget breaking, unfunded mandates on us.

24. START following the Second Amendment and allow citizens right-to-carry to decrease crime.

25. START encouraging faith-based solutions to societal problems government has failed to fix.

The Proven Deal represents the most practical, pro-active approach to putting us back on the solid economic and social path which proved so successful in developing and keeping the United States as the world super power we are.

If we do not take change course QUICKLY, we are at risk of falling so far away from our Representative Republic foundation and off the cliff into a socialistic, statist society which will ultimately result in economic chaos and collapse under the weight of national debt and failed social programs.

  Act now and restore America's strength.
